The fixed-fee has been calculated based on a variety of factors, all of which must be taken into account to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients. We consider the time and resources necessary to complete the matter at hand.
We look closely at the requirement for legal professionals’ involvement throughout the process, as well as determining the right level of risk management and compliance needed.
Then, we factor in office costs such as postage, telephone calls, photocopying and faxes.
The work covered by our retainer is for a general residential conveyance. If the work exceeds a standard conveyance, we will charge at a pre-negotiated fixed rate (additional charge on top of the standard conveyance) or an hourly rate of $440.00 (incl GST).
Additional charges only apply if the nature of the legal work exceeds a standard conveyance. We will notify you before you incur any such charge.
If so, you have probably already discovered that property conveyancing is a complex process. It entails legal and administrative legwork that surprises many buyers and sellers.
